This looks pretty promising. You'd think it wouldn't have taken this long to make an actual open-world sandbox zombie survival game with barricading and vehicles and even then it's a game that's probably not even going to be retail.
I hate when developers of zombie games compare it to Dayz so now all the "fans" of dayz will now think it is some kind of copy. But I for one and looking forward to this game.

Exactly. Saints Row was a copy of Grand Theft Auto III and Saints Row The Third was awesome.
There is no copying in gaming only building off of a framework and ideas an older game made.
There is copying artwork but that is different.

Saints Row was more of a copy of San Andreas.
It's more like GTA and Postal had a baby :v:
I love the exaggerated, stylized animation style.
Those animations, haha.
Too bad it was before DayZ :v:
1:16 made me less interested, jump stomping zombies is fun, but i'll stick to DayZ or The WarZ.

You can't really compare this with DayZ or The War Z, this game's singleplayer so it's focused on an entirely different experience.
Shacknews embedding a youtube video instead of forcing us to use their shitty player?

I'm glad someone else noticed this. Their player fucked up whenever I made it fullscreen.
Anyways, game looks kind of interesting. And the fact that it's XBLA means it should be low in price, right?
When's someone going to make a zombie game with actual civilians? Seriously, the thing I like about zombies is not what they are, but what they can do to society. I want a game where you see police fighting back and people running for their lives.

Because a game that takes place only so soon after an outbreak would either be very short or would just end up being running around all the time or just shooting everything.
Heh zombies that's a new one

Oh yeah look at all these open world sanbox zombie games, there's so many of them like
Dead Island and that's pretty much it?

I'm surprised you didn't include Dead Rising.

That doesn't really count, it's not really about survival or anything like that and it's set in a relatively small area, it's only about going around and beating up zombies with crazy weapons.
Well there was Infinity Mode in DR1 where you had to regularly eat or die and every other survivor was hostile, but I guess it's done more sloppily than most other survival games.
We had a game like this a while back called Fort Zombie. That didn't turn out too well...
Hope this one goes better but I'll keep myself from getting too worked up about it until I see some more solid footage.
