Samsung Galaxy tab 4 Help! can't delete history on the tool bar thingy?

So on this tab. I can delete all the history on google but on the bar where you write the URL. It comes up with google and hotmail. The things ive searched in there. How can I remove that?

Google search anything, "pie" for example. Then, on the search result page for pie go up to the search bar and erase "pie". Once the search bar is empty google will show you the 3 latest things you've searched for, including "pie".

It will also give you the option to remove them.
