Hey guys. Finished a build a week ago.
2.60 Ghz Intel Pentium
Biostar H6IMH Mobo.
4GB DDR3 GSkill
1TB Hdd.
The computer was working fine until today, when ever I boot it up the screen turns black and it beeps 5 times. According to Google. The 5 beeps indicate Processor failure. Does that mean the CPU is bad? or the motherboard socket? Im thinking of RMAing one of them or both if possible. Could anyone help me with this issue? Thanks

Could anyone help? lol
Check your motherboard manual for the specific code for your motherboard. Might not be a generic one.
If you've had the processor out of it's socket in the near past, see if any dust or other smaller things may have gotten in-between the processor's contacts, weaking or removing signal from one or more pins.
For 5 Beeps, the manual indicates its a "File read error"

It's powered. And I did do a CMOS Reset. The manual for the motherboard indicates 5 beeps is "File read error" which is something to do with the BIOS. While the generic 5 beeps means CPU Error. I guess Ill just RMA the motherboard...
