Need a new mainboard + cpu (intel)

Hey,

I'm looking to get a new mainboard and a new CPU. I got a 500€ budget and want to OC.

But I'm curios if I should buy a 2500k or a 2600k ? I need it for gaming and oc (as stated above).

The mainboard should have SLI Support and 8 USB slots. USB 3.0 would be nice but it is not necessary. It should also be a z68 one.

And don't say "you don't need that much" because I need it.

EDIT: Apparently I need some RAM too. 12 GB would be awesome if that's possible in my pricerange.

you should be able to get a P8P67 PRO or a P8Z68-V (if you're getting an SSD) for roughly the same price
gaming will not use hyperthreading, stick with the 2500k
gaming is also fine on 4GB RAM, you don't need 12, a cheap 2x2 kit of 1333 or 1600Mhz is fine

I'm running a minecraft server almost 24/7 for my friends which consumes A LOT of ram.

I'm also into 3d modelling and video creation.

Minecraft takes little to almost no ram, you wont need 12GB for better server quality. I would suggest a 2x4GB setup for video editing, and 3D modeling (dumb question but you never mentioned in OP) do you have a Video card, and if so what is it?
