What Happened to Cosmo (Zelda Speedrunner) and Spoony? - General

I was trying to look up Cosmo's Zelda World Record run again and I saw this on Google. [t]http://i.imgur.com/OEVfDCS.png[/t] I was kinda confused as to why the first result was, that.. so I clicked on that news article from 6 days ago. [URL]http://www.twitch.tv/cosmowright/profile[/URL] What's going on? What the hell is this? I don't even want to click on it. The Twitch thumbnails and titles kinda creeped me out already. Same thing with Spoony, I looked his channel up again as I wanted to see some SWAT 4 video I saw a while ago, but it's just, livestreams with no commentary? He's still taking money from his patreon despite not having made any actual content for almost a year. Spoony's just given up at this point and he's probably riding this out for as long as there's still people giving him money without him having to do anything.

Did they struggle or something? I wonder why they didn't ask for help if they had any problems. She tried to get back into Goldeneye a few months back, but only made the injury worse.

Spoony kinda went off the deep end at arround the end of the Ultima retrospective. I really enjoyed his Counter monkey videos and stuff like Rebruary, but the quality took a nosedive.

Somehow Spoony is making 1k a month on Patreon for doing literally nothing. I used to love the guy, but he's just gone now. (Though Counter Monkey is Fantastic)

I've been watching Narcissa recently. Not for the reasons someone would watch a streamer...Instead, more because I've found witnessing the sheer depths of narcissism that can be hiding behind who I thought was this quiet, humble dude who played games and turned it into a living. Speedrunning is cool, like its fun to watch what practice can do to the intended direction of a game...but with that, came a serious self-aggrandizement of worth that she's more than happy to tell her streamers about. You can pick any stream at random, and in it she will continuously, repeatedly tell you about it. It's almost monster-esque. So yeah, I'm kind of fascinated at how wrong I was about judging a person before I got to know what was going on in her head. Lastly, she passes the majority of her hate off as trans-phobia, and it is partially true but not for the reasons she thinks. People come and post crazy hateful comments on her shit, but only because they KNOW it gets to her. She literally tells people how to irritate her most, and then people obviously do it. Also, she combs the internet for any and all posts about herself, so don't be surprised if she hasn't found this thread in a weeks time. Her name was CAREFULLY chosen, and I think it was because self reflection allowed her to realize that she really is this narcissistic, and wanted to craft her new persona around it. Not good. Most currently, she's awaiting the arrival of Breath of the Wild. She's talked almost daily about how that game will help her "soar to new heights" and "surpass everything" she's "done before". I don't know about you, but how could someone ever think THAT much of playing a game really fast unless there is some delusion going on.
