Electric bike scheme first to be launched in the UK

Good to see people get a chance to have a go on these. I built mine and is incredibly fun to ride. Just a shame they're limited to 15MPH

I have an electric bike and I'm all for limiting them to 15MPH. These rules are in place in order to make them legal to own and use without a licence. At least this is the case in norway. They're not motor bikes. They're pedal assisting bikes, at least in norway.

I'm legally allowed to drive 10km faster in a school zone with a normal car or scooter. 15mph is so fucking slow.
