So I'm changing the HDD, and was wondering if it was possible to transfer the stuff from the First HDD into the Second one, by plugging them both in and booting on the First?
You could download an older version of symantec ghost (newer versions isn't freeware. :argh:) and then copy everything over.
Just stick the older one in an external enclosure or connect it as a secondary hard drive; you should be able to mount the drive in whatever OS you use and transfer the files you need. I don't see the point of downloading software for the job when it's easy enough to do it yourself.
