One of my PC's died. I'm moving my gaming rig into that PC and buying this hardware for my gaming rig. I already have drives and video cards...
What about a bulldozer? Budget is around what I just posted... Aside from the PSU, what's wrong with what I posted?
Bulldozer is really bad.
Bulldozer is really bad.
What are you calling a bulldozer? I'm confused.
What are you calling a bulldozer? I'm confused.
The processor. An i3 2100 is a better buy imo.
The processor. An i3 2100 is a better buy imo.
I hate Intel. I prefer AMD.
I hate Intel. I prefer AMD.
Your choice.
I hate Intel. I prefer AMD.
Please dont be an AMD fanboy, Intel surpassed AMD a long time ago in the technological aspects of computer hardware! this is now 2012.. give it some real thought, if you want bang for buck, go Intel!
Your choice.
Decent board? Looks like it has good ratings... Oh and feel free to find me another PSU around that price range.
Decent board? Looks like it has good ratings... Oh and feel free to find me another PSU around that price range.
Board is fine. PSU is 59.99 with EMCNCNE23 promo code and a $20mir. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139028
Dang missed that one... Thanks. Also, not an AMD fanboy. Always had excellent luck with AMD chips and boards.
Well good luck.
Well good luck.
RAM/CPU is compatible with that board right? PSU has at least four SATA power? Just making sure I get it right in my uncaffeinated state. :)

Just because you had good luck with AMD before means absolutely nothing. You're taking a hit in performance by going with Bulldozer. Fine if you want to go through with it, just know that you can get a cheaper and better performing build with Intel. AMD even admitted Bulldozer was a huge failure, seeing as how their older generation performs better.
Pay an extra 5$ and get 4gb instead of 2. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231423
G.Skill is kind of not a good brand. I stick to Kingston or Corsair.
G.skill is a great brand.
G.Skill is kind of not a good brand. I stick to Kingston or Corsair.
G skill is on par with corsair i'd say
G skill is on par with corsair i'd say
Hm, will get that then. WD still make good hard drives? Found a 2TB for a decent price on NewEgg.
Opinions on these? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820144594 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820313239 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231552
What inspired you to go from 2gb to 8gb. There's no good reason to have 8 gigs, just a waste of money imo. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231277 I personally have this right now: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145299

The people telling you bulldozer is crap are right, my friend has one and lots of games (saints row, deus ex, etc) took a fuckton of tweaking for him to get them playable. [editline]11th July 2012[/editline]
I'm rebuilding my gaming rig and putting the crap from my gaming rig into the other PC.
I get that, but you really only need 4 gigs anyway.

Why do you need 2133?
Why do you need 2133?
Faster. [editline]11th July 2012[/editline] Also found this for CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819106009
Faster.
why would you possibly need faster ram? besides your mobo probably will underclock if it's above 1333 anyway
why would you possibly need faster ram? besides your mobo probably will underclock if it's above 1333 anyway
Why? It supports 2133...
