• Passwording Router? (not what you think)

*I would google this, but it just comes up with the basics on how to put a password on my router.* So, at the college I go to, there's wireless internet you need to login to use, but you don't log in until you open up a web browser and try to go somewhere on it. How would I be able to do that with my home router? Why? I have a weird-ass network card that can't input passwords when connecting to wireless networks.
Install custom firmware like DDWRT which has that feature included. Edit: Assuming it supports your router that is. Edit: I think this is it: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Chillispot
That is part of your schools domain. I'm not totally sure DDWRT can do that though.
Awesome, thanks Olas. I'll check it out and reply back on what happens.
Your network card is probably shit then. Spend $20 and get a new one.
Doesn't seem there's really any custom firmware for my router. [editline]11:34PM[/editline]
Your network card is probably shit then.
