I wan't to use a cable of a damaged controller and add a female USB plug on the end, but I have one question. Do I cut at (1) or (2) [img]http://a.imageshack.us/img826/9585/p2106060910.jpg[/img]
1 [editline]09:13pm[/editline] 2 [editline]09:14PM[/editline] 1 [editline]09:14PM[/editline] 2 [editline]09:14PM[/editline] 1 [editline]09:15PM[/editline] 2 [editline]09:15PM[/editline] Oh I don't know.
Couldn't you have just Googled for the answer? Anyway the answer is neither, you cut it at the connector end.
It doesn't matter, that is just some ferrite beads that they still install on things that use digital connections for some reason. It made a difference on Analog cables but not digital. Do it on 2 so you have more length. [img]http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31brMbg3meL._SL500_AA280_.jpg[/img] Even USB cables have them needlessly.
Wait assuming I understand your post, the cable is already damaged? If so then cut from 2. Otherwise save your self time and just cut about an inch or two from the connector head. [editline]09:21PM[/editline] Damn Automerge ninja
It doesn't make a difference.
Why would you want to add a USB plug to it? [editline]08:26PM[/editline] And why is there a satan-star carved into your table?
Ok then (2) And to those who don't understand it so I can plug USB devices into the Xbox, not the controller into the PC. [QUOTE=DrLuke;24648374] And why is there a satan-star carved into your table?[/QUOTE] OH GOD OH GOD ITS A STAR... ITS A [highlight]SATAN STAR[/highlight] Its called a pentagram of what seems to be of neo-pagan retardisim.
Doesn't really matter to much. It's just to limit interference.
