Steam UI - Hardware & Software

How do i disable it? It's causing connection problems for me. I'm 100% certain it's causing connection problems. How do i disable it to the original or at least fix the error! Could not connect to vac server. no firewall no viruses no signal problems. Soon as i shut down the beta it works. Now the beta is default and i can't get rid of it! >:(

Yeah I am having problems with the new UI too. Connection is horrible and the ui is really laggy and stuff. I think it is just stuff that needs to be ironed out.

Right click on the game you want to disable it for, go to properties and uncheck the box.

There's a beta now, though, if you want to try that and see if it fixes anything. As always, one of the best things is to start an organized movement on the actual forums. They won't really give a crap if you boycott it via Steam Community Groups. Remember your citations.

Interestingly enough, the new UI runs faster on my PC. The old one was amazingly slow.
