He makes a shitload of clones of himself, each with separate cooldowns, but if one clone dies then all Meepo's on the map die. At least that's what I've been told.

I barely had any MOBA experience, and I was honest about my survey, and I still got into the beta within days. They're still 17, I think, heroes from having all of the ones in the current DotA release, so that could mean it's still like half a year from release in Valve time. But the good thing is that they're heavily polishing as they go, so even if they decide to take some time to build up the cosmetics before release, at least we won't have to wait for them to make it balanced.
Still no colourblind option...

Might take less time.
People say it will go live for everyone on christmas or so, but its Valve we're talking about.
Although, in what comes to heroes, that's a very different story.
We usually have a weekly hero release. We didn't for so long because of the International 2 but we SHOULD get back to the usual weekly release.
It also cosists of 1, 2 or even 3 heroes per update sometimes, so I think we can expect them to have the last heroes finished before december even.

I'm colorblind and have no issue... guess you have a more severe case?
Im red/green colourblind. Sometimes I have dificulty telling them apart, and in dota 2 the friendly health bars are green and the enemy ones are red... so in a teamfight, in all that confusion I have trouble instantly telling which of my team is each person.
I used to have the same problem in LoL, I had to install skins until they finally decided to introduce a simple feature to change the friendly healthbars to blue.
In Dota, I tried using consoles commands to change the healthbar colours, but had no success.

I remember filling out my survery and when it got to the GPM XPM part I just started putting stuff randomly because I never played Dota 1 that much. Got an invite like 2 weeks later, and didnt even bother trying for a month or two. And then i fell in love with it <3
Trying real hard for a friend who is a LoL player and he still didnt get an invite.
They did say that it was planned to be released late 2012, so hopefully hero releases wont be something that prevents its release.
