The HTC HD3 This is the beast that is to become the successor to the HD2. To which we all know is a pretty fuckin cool device. - It had come with 512mbs of ram, an expansion slot using micro SD, - Had a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor. - Great battery life, up to 390 hours standby. - A sexy 5 megapixel color camera with autofocus and dual LED flashlight n all that jazz. And it sported the sexiest UI of all mobile phones. The Touch sense UI as seen here: Well now we have the HD3 with some supposedly leaked info, and it looks like it's a Bad Ass Mother Fucker of a phone. The phone itself is smaller than the HD2, but the screen size actually bigger than the screen size of the HD2. - Now with a 4.5 inch AMOLED screen that displays shit in 1280x800 resolution this thing is sexy. - The cpu has been notched up to a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor. - It's camera can record at 720p resolutions, and is capable of 1080p HD video playback on a certain tv or somethin as it comes with an HDMI output. - The camera is now at 8 megapixels with the same dual-LED flash n shit. - Of course it sports a multi-touch screen. - One of the first few phones to come with a 4g connectivity, said to be around 10 times faster in downloading than our todays mobile phones. - An even more powerful battery(exact specs not released) - 1 gig of ram - 1 gig of hard drive space - And 32 gigs outside memory. This phone will be coming with the new Windows7 mobile, which will hopefully be an upgrade from the Touch Sense UI, with looks and functionality. Windows7 mobile will be coming with XboxLive And possibly the Zune Market place will be included as well. Along with the Zune Player. No official date of release on this, but around sometimes this year. Rumored to be around Summer time. I think for my new phone, it's going to either be this, or the iPhone 4g, I'll see when more info is released. So what do you guys think? :siren:Bad news everyone...:siren:
Following the sources on this I came to this site, and I think the text "HTC HD3 by NAK ... My concept about the HTC HD3 ..." confirms that we are looking at a fake.
:frown:
Jesus that resolution is high.
The fuck do you need 720p in a phone for.
:o
1 gig of RAM? Holy shit, at this rate our phones might have as much memory as our PCs.
Yep, these phones are already starting to resemble the specs of netbooks, but cost double of them :v: [editline]10:08PM[/editline]
The fuck do you need 720p in a phone for.
It'll be awesome for watching movies on a train or in an airplane.
Android or Windows Mobile 6.5, please? I mean, Really, Please?
We all know the limitations of Windows 7 will be the downside of this phone, but still, look at those features! [editline]10:11PM[/editline] I'm buying one the SECOND it comes out, even if it costs 2 iPhone 3GS' and a Playstation 3
Windows Phone 7 is horrendous, it doesn't even resemble the previous versions, doesn't have multitasking and is probably just as slow. I like the technical specs though (better than the netbook I own, except HDD space), shame it doesn't have a physical keyboard.

If you want slow go find an alpha version of Windows Mobile 7.
Damn, as much as I love my Blackberry if there is a version of this that works on T-Mobile (which is likely considering the HD2 does), I may have to save up the cash for one of these. That is a NICE phone.
What are these limitations of Windows Phone 7? [editline]06:15PM[/editline] They rebuilt it from scratch. And as Thunderbolt said, it doesn't have multitasking, so it's basically going from everything you'd want out of windows, into iPhoneOS Microsoft Edition.
Howcome the processor is measured in gigabytes, not hertz? [editline]11:19PM[/editline] in the picture

Even the URL says Windows Mobile. http://www.microsoft.com/Windowsmobile/en-us/default.mspx
god damn do fucking want I mean, it all depends on whether WinMo 7 sucks ass or not, but goddamn I think I jizzed a little goddamn
hat the what. Since when did they change the name? Even the URL says Windows Mobile. There's Windows Mobile 7 (discontinued / somewhere in pre/alpha stages) and Windows Phone 7 (new). Also: http://www.windowsphone7.com/

However the new name sucks, and only faggots will demand you refer to it as such.
Yeah, I'm not too excited about the Widows Mobile Phone they got going, hopefully there will be some changes to suit the HTCs style, in terms of UI.
They changed the name to windows phone 7 series as part of WinMo's whole image change. However the new name sucks, and only faggots will demand you refer to it as such.
Well Microsoft sucks at naming things so eh. Might as well call it WinPho now.

Just gonna leave this thread with a frown. The perfect phone has been ruined. :frown:
So because they changed the name, the hardware it runs on is ruined?
Noo.. Noo-hoo no.. So what we're getting, is an OS that's more restricted than my xbox? Just gonna leave this thread with a frown. The perfect phone has been ruined. :frown:
I want to be able to install android on it. That, or a jailbreak-style thing for the OS, as long as enough people are interested in developing apps for it. [editline]11:31PM[/editline] I just realised, this thing has better specs than my 2003 full-tower PC. And the screen has a higher resolution. Fuck.
So because they changed the name, the hardware it runs on is ruined?
Hardware doesn't matter if the software running on it has no features to use it. Just let it go, we'll just have to wait and see what Windows Phone 7 has to bring that beats the old OS.
I want to be able to install android on it. I seriously just bought a hd2 last week.

Only thing that bothers me is the price. It's gonna be goddamn expensive.
Only thing that bothers me is the price. It's gonna be goddamn expensive.
Well the HD2 were expensive when it came out, but it's cheaper than other phones which a lot of people buy. Costs extra to get it first too, so waiting a month will make the price drop by a ton.
Yep, these phones are already starting to resemble the specs of netbooks, but cost double of them :v: [editline]10:08PM[/editline] It'll be awesome for watching movies on a train or in an airplane.
Phones are not for watching movies. It's not like you'll be able to tell the difference on such a small display. It just needlessly inflates the price with a super expensive display.
