In bad company 2 whenever I try to spawn I get extremely intense ammounts of lag. Than it waits an extra 5 seconds to spawn. When it finally does spawn I've been on the field for about 30 seconds. It's really pissing me off because I die whenever I spawn. I'll post a video soon. If this is in the wrong section can a mod please move it to the right one, I don't know where a problem like this would go besides the steam forum.

How about you post your specs first.
Also post your temperatures (using [b][url=http://www.cpuid.com/hwmonitor.php]HWMonitor[/url][/b]) at moments where it lags.

anything else needed besides the temp? Which I will try and get you but will be extremely hard since I can't do shit while it's lagging.
What settings are you running the game on? Resolution? etc
Yeah, try running the game on lower settings. I bet that if you don't lag then, your gpu probably gets too hot.
Go in the game, die, lag, alt-tab to hwmonitor, screenshot, post here.

It was working perfectly fine before the new update and a bit after it too...

And I did lower settings but nothing and I think the resolution is at 1280 x 768 or something like that, my 9400GT could handle it perfectly fine when it was 1440x900.
The game is currently on high settings with x4 anti aliasing.

Get 10.3a Catalyst and download the profile for BC2 for it. Makes my game run better, will do so for you too, maybe even get rid of this lag.

You have to download it from AMD's site, it is a preview driver.
