Bout time I preordered Absolution, let's do this
Patching a pre-order bonus takes dedication.

This was a good idea tbh, it allows them to test the engine with a large group of people without releasing an official beta or something like that.
I find it sad that they made a sniper challenge, for a game series that is known for being completable without firing a single weapon.

You're thinking of Splinter Cell. The Hitman series is more about having the option to go about missions however you want. Have you played the Hitman games? Blood Money gives you 5 or 6 weapons to start off at the bat, along with upgrades and the ability to reuse guns you've found in previous missions. I'll be damned if you try to play Hitman 2 without resorting to shoot some nosy guard. Since the game is about option, you do have the choice to avoid the guards and take out your targets with poison or an accident, but finishing the game without firing a single weapon is definitely not what I know the Hitman series for. Incidentally, the stealth works rather well in Sniper Challenge. There are a couple of places to 'hide' bodies and to take out guards after they notice a body but before they're able to communicate it to the rest of the team.

The game is known for giving you multiple paths and tools to complete the missions. If it was known for being able to be completed without firing a single weapon they wouldn't have added shit like weapon mods in BM especially the 100rd drum for the M4. Hell one of the signatures of the series is the WA 2000 sniper rifle he carries around his a briefcase.
I'm in the high scores for this in my country at about 50th purely because a guy on my friends list and I kept beating each others scores. Played it for 8 hours too so I've already got quite a bit from pre-ordering and the game isn't even out yet!
That's probably a good thing because you're on my friends list and I wouldn't want you having the motivation to beating my score.
