This is so funny, at this point I [I]almost[/I] want the game to bomb. It's just getting pushed so hard that I think it'd be really funny. But that's just me.

idk if you have anything against this then my guess is you havent played it. the microtransactions are non invasive and arent required at all to play (they are stuff like damage, shield boosts, revives, heals etc) which only make the game super easy but arent required at all to do fine.

i like it, its a little timewaster and its as good as any of the cash grab games out there except no money is needed really.

i like the idea and the game is fun as a timewaster on the train and stuff, and as an added bonus you get some stuff in the actual game for it.

I don't think they're dumb, but they should be meaningfully relevant. Watch Dogs allowed mobile app users to play a sort of "dungeon master" role with people playing the actual game. That was an interesting concept. This seems to be a match 3 game that helps your character, which is hardly as interesting.

I think the game is going to be great. This companion app really didn't need to exist though.

I also think the game gets too much hate for its dlc, especially since it doesn't divide the community at all. Everyone gets the maps and gamemodes free and you can play with people that have dlc characters even if you don't have them.

Compare this to Call of Duty and Battlefield where game modes, maps and weapons are only useable by season pass holders. Also add the microtransaction skins and/or "battlepacks." Yeah Evolve has DLC get the fuck over it, they aren't as bad as other games.

christ, I really wanted this game to be successful, but no doubt people are going to be turned off when you pull stuff like dlc announcements [I]before[/I] the game has even launched. they should just focus on balancing the game in the beginning.
