PLEASE HELP!!! Motherboard: http://us.msi.com/index.php?func=proddesc&maincat_no=1&cat2_no=171&prod_no=1879 CPU: Amd phenom ii x4 955 black
How did you type this thread OT: Send it to a repairer or just let it cool for 3-5 hours.
How did he post? Mmmmmaaayyybeee... He's using someone else's computer? DUN DUN DUNNNN Anywho, if you can, open up your case and look for "bulging" or busted/burst/or even just raised top capacitors on your motherboard. Capacitors are like Christmas lights... One goes out, they ALL go out! If you don't know what to look for...
i wouldn't be suprised if the caps would look like that as it's MSI Motherboard. But i guess that your computer won't turn os has something to do with the power supply.
Yeh, it'll be your power supply, check the switch at the back of your tower if you may of flicked it off lol, or it could of been the plug or fuse... The fuse may of blown which you will have to send to a PC repair shop lol, but sometimes you may of got lucky and it will of just killed itself to stop the fuse going kaboom :) You will just need to clean ya computer if that's happened, look for dust and things that may of clogged your fans or whatever... (No I'm not a technition just a guy that don't know much about comps) :D
Does the HDD or cpu fan work?
my HDD's work because i have them connected to my brothers computer. my CPU fan does not turn on. I plug my computer in, a green light goes on my motherboard which means it has power, i turn it on, one blue LED flashs ONCE not in a sequence there is no code or any of that, the i try to press the power button again, and it doesn't even bother flashing the blue LED anymore. (nothing turns on no HDD no Optical no Fans, no PS, just the LED turns on.)
