I have a 1680 x 1050 monitor, a mouse, a keyboard and speakers. I just need the computer built, I also don't need a copy of Windows 7 as I already have a spare. Can someone give me the best list for $1,000 that can play Crysis on max settings smoothly as well as other modern games? Thanks
Thanks for the helpful OP. I'm thinking i5 750 and GTX 470.
Whoeps, i missed the USD part, give me a sec. Just wondering.
No
Ah OK. It turns out I wont be able to use the Windows 7 I stated previously. How much would it be for Win 7 OEM?
100$
I have a legit key, could I just burn the .iso image onto a DVD? [editline]02:47PM[/editline] And boot it up and insert the disc. [editline]02:58PM[/editline] And before anyone screams piracy, I have a MSDN account.

I know it's legal, my question was that would it be possible t.o just burn it and insert it at startup

Oh OK, so I assume BIOS would start up and it'd ask to insert a disc or something right?
[QUOTE=starpluck;25129049]Oh OK, so I assume BIOS would start up and it'd ask to insert a disc or something right?[/QUOTE] You have to set up the boot device priority in BIOS so that it tries to boot from the dvd drive first, save settings and exit. Then you can insert the disc and it'll automatically boot from it. When the OS is installed, just go back and set it to boot from hard drive first.
When you've assembled the build and turn it on it will say something like "No boot device found", then you'll just put in the DVD and restart and it will start from the setup.
Oh OK thanks guys. Yeah I know how to set boot device priority etc. That's all I needed to know.
