In the past twenty minutes i've had three Display Driver errors/crashes, i've not turned my PC off for a while and my temp's 62 degrees. Is this a sign my Video card's on the way out or do i just need to turn it off for a while?
Have you tried updating the drivers?
62 is pretty average for a GPU I believe
It's an 8400, FYI. also no i haven't updated drivers. I'll try that if i get one more display driver error..

Crap i just uninstalled my old drivers to install the new ones and they're saying they can't find compatible drivers for my hardware :wtc:

I assume you're running the 32-bit version of vista
Yeah i tried them. THey didn't work. They said "the driver could not be installed, which may cause some compatibility issues. the last driver that worked will now be restored"

Well i managed to get it installed and working, But now my PC gives me a BSOD just before the windows logo. lovely.

Also. switched to Onboard graphics. the 8400 is fucking fried. the thermal paste is just.. gone.
Looks like it's time to get a new GPU. If you have the money get a better one. You can get a 9800 for about $80-$100 these days.
