Dude Kojima himself likes PC. I remember reading an article that he hated the idea of console wars and exclusives, so much that he said that if he would rather make games for pc only just to shut everyone the hell up. Hell this isn't even the first metal gear game to be on PC. Metal gear solid 2 was ported to PC when subsistence edition came out.
Depending on the specs, I'm sure I'd retire my i7 950 for this.
