It makes sense for them to not want to get in any legal trouble so I'm not pissed at them for that.

Not even a day in, Google hasn't bought Twitch yet. Everything on the news has been rumors and reports.

I'm not saying Google didn't pressure them. But in all likeliness they got more pressured by actual copyright holders.
