I got this game from GMG, where can I get the patch?

Its essentially ArmA with a bunch of WW2 gear and more realistic gear. If you don't enjoy milsims you won't enjoy this.

I prefer RO2 over this crap.
Im pretty sure you would enjoy this if you had played that world war 2 mod for ArmA2
I like this game, a lot. It's not ARMA II good, but ARMA II is only good because of an absoultely epic community; something Iron Front lacks. However, the gameplay most certainly works and is solid for what it is. Real Virtuality engine related bugs and shitty performance aside.

This game shot itself in the foot when it's team said no mods due to their contract with BI.
And the Tiger I should've been in the game from Day 0.

Pretty much, yes. There's quite a few thing it lacks. SVT-40 and Gewehr 43s, for example. I still enjoy it. Still like setting up epic battles in the editor. It's most certainly not a game for everyone; not even in the sense that RO2 isn't a game for everyone, but it is a good game for me.
