It all started on the Mii Channel, I wanted to make my Mii creator name something hip and stylish so I thought of MonkeySD (SD standing for soda).
It's when I got my 3DS that DonkeySoda came to be. I was bored one night on the Mii Channel and decided to make a cartoonish Mii. No nose, big mouth, button eyes and a grayish long hair.
I think I named him DonkeySD before turning it into DonkeySoda. He became a grumpy asshole after drawing him for abit.
Idk why I decided to go by Toyhobo in 2004, It just happened while playing cs 1.6
I used to be named Toyhobo [made in china] as a fun hint at a lot of toys being made in china but I had to remove it due to too many people thinking i was actually chinese and a lot of racial slurs for asians were slung my way.

I have no clue how I got this username, oldest time I can remember using it was for runescape way back in 2007, it wasn't randomly generated I just put the first two things to come to my head into the username field and I guess I was the third slapdown. I usually go by a different username nowadays though.
i was making a new account on roblox in 2009 because i had lost access to my previous account, and i picked the edgiest word i could think of, combined with the coolest letter i could think of, and then a random number
but i don't even use this name anymore aside from here

My real name (Dominik) shortened + my enthusiasm for sharks and the ongoing TF2 meme at that time.
When we switch to Newpunch, it's just going to be Shier since that sorta became my online alias over the years. And that one has the amazing story of origin of me literally making it up one night when I was staring at the ceiling. Hard to believe, I know.
Someone called me a "chonch burger" in middleschool and if just sort of stuck. The "burger" part fell off over the years.
i was messing around with two random acronyms i had come up with while aimlessly running around in an empty gmod rp map one day like 3-4 years ago when i like i usually would mashed the acronyms up in my head and i thought "this sounds like a good name"

the other name i use when Kurahk is already taken is Talon Pandemonium and it comes from the main character of a one-off (as far as I know) graphic novel called Pandemonium
Niney is just a variation of Ninny (ninny was taken) which is a nickname for nintendo-guy, friend started calling me it back in like 2011 and it spread and now everyone calls me it. I've pretty much abandoned nintendo-guy now.

i've said this so many times but yeah
it started out as KennyAwesome because i couldn't think of a more generic username.
Unfortunately this didn't fit into Facepunch's username character limit, so instead of actually choosing a different one i opted for the shortening of the Awesome part. So alas, KennyAwsum. Defintely the most underwhelming story in this thread.
Had a few usernames before I decided to stick with my current one.
The iThink part comes from a player I knew on a GTA SA Multiplayer server called iThinkGreen.
The N7 part comes from my favourite video game series of Mass Effect.
One day I just combined the two together, thought it sounded nice enough, and just stuck with it.
Not the most creative username origin.
Interesting how many of(rather few) posts relate to something from the childhood. It's quite nice to read, actually, that so many people have usernames here from years and years ago. I mean, obviously, if you've been on this forum for 7+ years it's bound to happen of course, but still nice to see. Roblox and fellow Lego people, SAMP, good stuff!

I was like 11 and playing Halo Combat Evolved so needed to think of the most badass gamer tag I could, being a child.
So I chose Sgt.Fragg, misspelling Frag(mentation) and then I got a job in science and decided to retire from the military and don my doctorate.
I replaced the C in carrot with a G.
I had this username for as long as I can remember, and I don't even know what my 11 year old self was thinking when I made this. It's been so long, I cannot remember anymore.
My story is pretty tame. Went by the name SorrowSpear for a while, which was the name of a Tom Clancy style novel I wrote when I was like 11. At some point I decided I was done with SorrowSpear, so I changed it to Enaegma because it sounded cool, then after getting sick of that, I came up with two ideas; Protocol7 and Precinct7 (also because they sounded cool.)
Put up a poll thread on a forum called Divine Design GFX and everyone said they liked Protocol7 more, so that's what I ended up with. Liked it enough to keep it thus far.

I was at a low point emotionally about other things in my life, and I didn't like my other handles and tags, so I went with one that summed up how I felt at that time.
Years and years have gone by and now I just like it enough to keep it.

I just put two names together that I thought sounded cool at the time. Google searches of it brings up a Native American dancer from recent years, though.

It's a mixture of me and my younger brother's name, back when we only had one computer at home for some online game more than twelve years ago, for an account which we both shared then.
Eventually, we didn't share each other's accounts anymore as soon we had two computers and he could make an account of his own for that game, but I stuck by that name ever since. It just grew on me after a while, so I strongly doubt I'd ever change it at this point.
