So i will probably give myself some kind of Christmas present in the form of a monitor. The monitor would be used for gaming mostly and the preferred resolution would be 1920x1080. The price tag should be between 150-300€ and the size should be 23"-27" Help would be much appreciated.
This AOC e2343F Amazing monitor 23"around £150
http://www.najpc.sk/img/aoc-e2343f-23-w-led-1920x1080-50-000-pac.jpg

http://zgcdiy.com/images/201104/goods_img/88_P_1303876850195.jpg
Fucking lovely!
I picked up an ASUS VE258Q the other day, and it's lovely. 25 inch is a nice size for a monitor.

I got an AOC monitor, 19 inch 1600x900, damn good monitor. Those are nice for the price especially too.
I just checked the Asus Ve258Q and it looks pretty nice and big. The 25" is probably the one for me but i will check the AOC one aswell. [editline]2nd December 2011[/editline] The AOC one is pretty cheap and looks nice. Is it good for playing games and watching movies and such?

LED and the latency is about 3ms so yes it is brilliant for games and films. I got the 21.5" and that is amazing. Totally recommend it
I was looking at the Samsung SyncMaster PX2370 and it's gotten some very nice reviews. Anyone got any first hand experience of that monitor?
I was looking at the Samsung SyncMaster PX2370 and it's gotten some very nice reviews. Anyone got any first hand experience of that monitor?
Yeah that is a nice monitor. Very stylish and clean. My dad had a samsung syncmaster and it lasted about 6 years. So yeah that is a nice monitor.
These monitor threads always come down to people suggesting their own monitor.
Great monitor with 2ms response time, Has wonderful colors and the speakers arent half bad http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236091 I don't personally have this one I have the slightly newer one now but I did have this one.
These monitor threads always come down to people suggesting their own monitor.
Yes because people have experienced the monitor and how good it is. It is the same with food. You like it, you would recommend it.
Monitors are something you often can't recommend in good faith unless you've seen it with your own eyes.
But unless you've experienced every monitor you can't compare.
But unless you've experienced every monitor you can't compare.
Not entirely true, you can make assumptions based on specs and reviews. How factually valid the comparison is, that's a different story.
After reading the reviews and such i will probably buy the Syncmaster PX2370. Looks like a nice clean and sleek monitor.
