This is the remote for my home theater system, it has a weird button where the power button should be. Called "Dimmer"
What's its purpose?

It deletes system 32.

I've accidentally pressed it a few times attempting to hit the on/off button, doesn't seem to do antyhing.
I think you can get a menu screen somehow by using an HDMI cable or something to a TV, so maybe it dims the menu screen which i was unaware of.
I just have a PS3 feeding the system through an optical didgital.
It dims the display on the home theatre system probably
