• Got something relatively nasty (Virus/Malware)

I dunno what the hell happened, but I caught some kind of virus or malware. I've tried numerous virus scans (Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware) as well as Spybot S&D scans in and out of safemode... On Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit I really dunno what the core cause is, but it keeps creating multiple instances of iexplore.exe It also creates duplicates of running executables with little pixelated heart icons.. gah I dunno what to do, I'm getting very frustrated. Also reformat isn't an option right now as I don't have any Windows discs nor can I acquire any right now. Bah. I have a feeling my computer is a fucking mess right now.
This might sound stupid but have you actually tried scanning your entire computer with AVG or Avast (the new version is fuckin awesome)? because malwarebyte and spybot are anti-spyware/adware, they aren't actually anti-viruses...
Personally, I think the best way to deal with any malware or virus is to use the services offered by one of the many free computer support forums. Follow the instructions in the link below and a trained analyst will check your logs, help you sort it out for free and give you advice on keeping your computer clean in the future If you cannot complete any of the steps, let the analyst know and he will advise you what to do next. Run different antivirus and antispyware programs to try and solve it. If it doesn't work, backup and install linux until you can find a replacement Windows 7 DVD.

Update Avira to the newest version, you will have to download it, it will not do it via update. I would backup your important data and reformat if I were you....
I think I got it all fixed. Installed Avast!, did a thorough scan overnight..Guess we'll see when I get back home. Yeah, I desperately need to reformat..I will soon, once I can get my paws on a Windows 7 DVD..and this time I need to pay attention to what I install. 100+ processes after startup is a tad extreme.
