I'm not even sure if I want a new Mass Effect to be honest. I feel like 3 was the end, and it should be left at that. [editline]29th July 2014[/editline] That's probably why I'm against Halo 4 so much
More colors
i want it to be a good game
Baldur's gate in space would do it for me.

I'd like to see just that, actually. More of the universe. And, despite the ending, I'm excited to see the quality story telling of this universe. [editline]29th July 2014[/editline] Though I agree about Halo. Halo 4 is just awful because they fucked it up, not because it was a continuation.
Not the same rehashed gameplay, no dumb romance bullshit, characters with genuinely expansive backstories not throw-away "loyalty" missions, more focus on exploration and discovery to bring back some of the atmosphere they created in ME1. Most importantly a plot that doesn't involve saving the entire galaxy for once. Make it smart and contained at a decent size, blowing it up too much just guarantees the mess that was ME3.
I want it to go back the ME1's visual style. It isn't though.
I want it not to make me invest 5 years in the series to fart in my face at the very end. Seriously, I cannot bear to play any of the games, and I pretty much did all the ME1 and 2 achievments before ME3 release.
The sense of exploration and wonder that Mass Effect 1 gave. I get that the experience can't be 100% replicated because it was new at the time but the game just felt more stylistic and unique compared to ME2 and ME3. I also would like to see coop return. It was a really polarizing feature but personally I loved playing it with friends and seeing how well we could do with different compositions of characters, and all the free DLC was great too.
