"report in at 13:00 GMT for orders on November 13th."
Well seeing as it's now the 14th we've missed this deadline thanks to this day late news. Unless of course that's just a typo.
I got the email last night - you have until some time today to do it.
Yeah, I just saw the email myself. Still, wouldn't this news still have been better to tell us about yesterday when it was announced.

And seeing as the people who actually play WT play WT a lot, practically the entire regular community will be in the drawing.
Is war thunder a P2W f2p??
P2GetPastRank11WithoutSacrificingSoul
Ah okay, so basically pay2notgrind?
Ah okay, so basically pay2notgrind?
Sorta kinda. Having premium for the day definitely helps with gaining faction XP. It's nowhere near as shitty as World of Tanks though and the game is actually fun. You can shoot down rank 18 jets with a rank 6 BF-109E3 quite easily, the game is determined more by skill than anything else.

People argue that the longer period of time to get to top rank in WT is justified by grinding all trees at once, which is true to a point, but entirely arguable. The balance is arguable too. The concept is there, that planes are skill based and tanks are less skill based, but it's not the world's most rock solid game ever, and that idea doesn't always pan out. It's not for everyone either. [editline]14th November 2013[/editline] Also the whole part where the two games are entirely different and attack entirely different parts of the battlefield. I'm interested to see how WT:Ground Forces is like but it will still be completely different regardless.

I'm really interested to see how Warthunder's Ground Forces play out balance wise, it was pretty hit and miss with planes for a few patches. The only comparison I was trying to draw been WT and WoT was the time investment for leveling up nations, albeit I worded it poorly.
So if I am getting this right, they are making us play a beta, to get a score high enough to play a beta for the beta we are playing?
So if I am getting this right, they are making us play a beta, to get a score high enough to play a beta for the beta we are playing?
And it's entirely by chance, doing all challenges doesn't ensure you a spot. It's silly and I personally gave up on it this morning as I'm not willing to jump through their flaming hoops to get to the prize. Game itself is amazing though and Ground forces will be even better.
Better than saying oh buy premium and you'll get a key.
I'd rather buy the premium to get into beta to be honest.
