Need help figuring out if my laptop supports SATA3

I have a Lenovo G505s 59406400 laptop. The one with the A8 processor.
I can't seem to find any information on whether or not it supports SATA3 hard drives.
Can someone help me out with this? I don't use the laptop for hard core gaming. Or really gaming much at all. I just use it for programming and Netflix, however it takes forever for anything to launch now and seeing as how it has the original 5400 rpm hard drive, I think that's the problem.
How can I figure out if it supports SATA3 drives? I want to get an SSD for this.
You can run SATA 3 drives on SATA 2 ports. Switching to an SSD, even if your laptop does only have SATA 2, would still give you a considerable speed increase.

Although it would be silly to buy a blazingly fast & expensive Sata3 drive then.
Better to buy a good SSD that just slow enough so it isn't bottlenecked by Sata2.
They don't make SSD's like that anymore.
just get an mx100 and chuck it in there
