Yeah, rockstar killed their MP and the game's future and they fucking know it.
wish they would offer double the singleplayer dlc
don't support gestapo companies
My brother actually considered getting this now that we have a rig that apparently can run it well. In a rarity for him though, reading how the multiplayer is Korean MMO tier grindy and how he isn't really one for single player made him reconsider. And to be on topic somewhat: If Korean MMOs have taught me anything, if events like this start becoming common, THEN they are desperate to get people back.
should've keep going with contact missions and vip jobs
boring
Fuck RP. What GTA Online needs is more ways to earn money. Doing heists with randoms is a real pain but it's the only way to earn money in the game. You could spend hours doing missions and races and barely earn 100k. Considering how tight cash is and how expensive everything is, they seem to really really want everyone to buy shark cards and not play the game.
free play is pretty awesome but grinding for more stuff for it is not worth it
I wish Rockstar would listen to the community more. With some updates, you can tell that they listened to community feedback (like the halloween update, customizable apartments, lowriders, yachts). But, for the most part, they just do these lousy events and add bullshit gamemodes that nobody plays except youtubers and twitch streamers.
If they just made MTA official type of multiplayer, it'd be alive still.
not to mention rumors of 2nd part of lowriders
Yeah, rockstar killed their MP and the game's future and they fucking know it.
Just like MP3. Max Payne was never about multiplayer. Imho, GTA's were never either, or at least not as ambitiously as GTA V tried to do. Or tell me GTA V players, does the SP-portion of the game even matter to you? Does it have as many characters and quests overall? (I haven't finished it, just played some ages ago.)
Yeah, rockstar killed their MP and the game's future and they fucking know it.
It's still a very popular game

Then everything just went downhill from there.
Is there actually any point in the rank system?
Is there actually any point in the rank system?
To make you grind, and that seems to be it.
It's still a very popular game
This is true for now, but I honestly do not expect it to last very long. A lot of people who were willing to put up with the shark card bullshit and the grinding are starting to get sick of the fact that Rockstar completely ignores the community's requests. There are many issues with the game that could've been solved easily, but Rockstar either has no intention to fix them or is taking an excessive amount of time to fix the issues(you can't actually tell because Rockstar never bothers to communicate with the players).
I never really got into the MP. I need story and fun missions in GTA games. I loved the SP but after beating it I didn't find too much fun in messing around. I went into MP and I found only boring ass kill NPC missions, deathmatch and races. The heists were the peak with some folk from FP but even those can get frustrating with strict game overs. Then there's the whole grind.

The $100 one isn't even enough to buy the most expensive plane.
