Not at all. For some casual surfing on the web, sure.
Graphics Generic PnP Monitor @ 1440 by 900 Mobile Intel(R) 45 Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1,1)
???????? [editline]11:33PM[/editline] NO, GET OUT! /caps
Jesus... that's barley enough power to watch youtube.
Half Life 2 runs well on it.
Half Life 2 runs well on it.
all low 640x480
If you have a PCI-E slot, get yourself a nice graphics card such as the ATI 5770
If you have a PCI-E slot, get yourself a nice graphics card such as the ATI 5770
learn to read, it's a laptop and it'd be bottlenecked to hell anyway
Laptop!? Omg dwarf fortress!1
Not really good for the gaming at all. It might work if the graphics cpu wasn't intergrated. I've yet to see any good non-gaming laptops be any good at gaming.
lol your computer sucks ass
A notebook got better graphics.
Lol get roller-coaster tycoon running on that shit.
The Horror
FYI, Half-Life 2 is 6 years old.
Older games will run fine. I've played Half Life 2 on a system with worse specs with no problems.
Do you think I can upgrade the video card and other things to make gaming better? Give me links to good graphic cards which could I use with my pc! UK links only.
:downs: You can't upgrade a laptop's video card.
Really? I wanna play GMod but I don't know now.
It's shit, won't run crysis at all, and won't even run GMOD.
It will run gmod on low with fairly playable framerates.
Is there anyway to upgrade a laptop graphics card?
Is there anyway to upgrade a laptop graphics card?
most unlikely but BINARY said there were a few brands that you could
Is there anyway to upgrade a laptop graphics card?
Lets see shall we?
fuck NO

Not at all

NO

:downs: You can't upgrade a laptop's video card.

No
Good enough answer?
Laptops aren't really for gaming. Simple reason, gaming= need for powerful videocard = videocard sucking up all the battery = laptops worst enemy = wimpy videocards being used in laptops. Yeah you could find a 'gaming' laptop but it'll be expensive, run hot, and the battery won't last long.
You could probably get away with Source games and Gmod, if your GPU wasn't complete shit (the intel 945 IGP is horrid, trust me, I have one). I can play Garry's Mod, for the most part, fine on my old Celeron PC, that uses 512MB of SDRAM, and runs at a whopping 1.4 Ghz (and its a Pentium III Celeron, no less) but it has a Nvidia 8400GS PCI card. Even THAT PC has more potential for gaming than yours.
I just want to be able to run GMod and use nukes and other high end stuff.
I just want to be able to run GMod and use nukes and other high end stuff.
You can not. Just get over it. You need a new rig.
I'm 11, where do I get the money?
