• Change audio sampling rate in XP?

I have Dead Rising 2 and it only works on anything below 24bit/48khz sampling rate. How do I change the sampling rate? I have Realtek HD Audio Manager but there are no options to change the sampling rate, there are no options in the control panel or sounds and audio devices. TIA
I think if you go into sound devices and right click and choose properties under the input you what. It's in there somewhere.
