Hey guys i heard Skyrim was awesome, however i am running a "No Demo, No Buy" policy. I really want to try it but i dont want to waste my money on another game that does not run on my computer so. I couldnt find a demo on steam, is there even anyone anywhere?
There is none but if you give us your specs, we might be able to tell you if you could maybe run it
I haven't seen one mate, I don't think they have many demos any more from what I see.
No, there's no demo. Check the specs if it will run.
I hate to say this but if your serious about it then download a copy, its too good to miss out on, if you like it then buy the game, if not then delete it! Im not promoting piracy, it's just an option for the OP, if the mods are unhappy then feel free to remove my post.
I wish developers would make a special stress test demo on the game engine to see if your pc can run it without having to buy the game to regret it. Unfortunately no demo/ I've had no problems myself but seriously, demo or stress test on engine or something.

Some kind of benchmark programme would be useful indeed

(Do buy it at some point to support the developers through please.)
reported for warez..
So you have to post saying you reported for warez? Man, I know I am going to be banned anyway, but I still agree that you should pay for the games after you try them. I bought Skyrim after pirating it.
"No Demo, No Buy" policy
You'll miss out on some good stuff that way.
Just watch some gameplay. Also, I'll give my opinion. It is pretty much improved in every aspect of Oblivion, however it took me about an hour to get used to the menu and combat systems. But after that, I very much think it is worth the $88 I stupidly payed for because of the retarded videogame prices in Australia.
Dude, just search for gaming benchmarks or something for your GPU; it's not really that hard.
Just buy the game, no regrets

I couldnt run GTA IV on it, (I could but it would chop as soon as i pressed a key, i could stand still forever and it would go on smoothly). Its an Intel I7 Q740, 1.73 Ghz 8 GB RAM Windows 7 64bit NVIDIA GeForce GT 425M Runs Crysis smoothly. What else to say? It runs HL2 EP2 smoothly on highest settings, buts its getting old anyway :P
You could buy it at a store, such as a store not dedicated to games. Try it, if you don't like it go and return it and give the excuse like "The disc doesn't respond, I'd like a refund please".

You dont need demo. Just pay 50 bucks and you'll see it was worth it.
