I hate the excuse for why the games cannot be made specifically for the 3DS.

Unfortunately, all DS games are blurry as shit on the 3ds due to Nintendo not quite knowing how to handle a different screen resolution.

If you hold Select when starting up a normal DS game, it shows it at the regular resolution without stretching/blurring it up, albeit without using the full 3DS screen size but functionally looking better at least. .. Should probably be an option rather than some 'secret button' thing though.

I'm aware of that one. But since it isn't hinted to in any way, most people aren't going to know about it.
