Ok, so I plugged my old mic into my computer but it doesn't seem to be working. My friend said he hears only whats going on in a game rather than whatever I'm saying into the mic.
Can anyone help me?
also, when i unplug the mic he still hears sounds from my computer.
Sounds like you are set to stereo mix. Check your mixer/device settings.

This would be it. Make sure you have it on "Microphone" instead of "Studio Mix" or "What you Hear".
