I like the parchment scenes. Though they used them too much. But why bridge the gap in a book and not the game itself? Why not have a cutscene, or even an NPC talk to you about what happened? NPCs in Diablo 3 just don't give a fuck.

I read the Warcraft novel about Arthas and it was awesome, but yeah this one could suck, but if it was by christie golden, chances are it would be cool
