Hi, I am curious as to what free (burnable) programs aid in troubleshooting an impaired PC. I would like to have a little collection of diagnostic tools for personal use. A computer of mine keeps getting a blue screen, even after a reformat.
Thanks.
Linux bootdrive (So you can start up and remove files from a borked windows install)
Sisandra, for general info and tests
Memtest,For memtests
CPUZ, CPU info
GPUZ, GPU info
Prime 95, CPU testing
Furmark, GPU testing
HW monitor, Temps n shit.
What BSOD do you get?
Google the error.
I have a feeling it's temperature related, to be honest.

This, I have used this CD loads of times, pretty much has all the tools you'll need besides a stress tester.
