That really should be a given, but okay.
You tell us we will get access to all the units, factions and then tell us you will be selling alternative subfactions with special units. You tell us you're trying to avoid "pay-to-win" but then tell us you can pay to level up and unlock things faster. So basically you're trying to tell us that you're lying through your teeth or can't decide what you're actually doing? Thanks EA, the only reason you didn't fuck up your first C&C game is because Westwood had already laid it all out for you. Good thing this'll be another Origin exclusive so I know that I don't need to bother to even try it.

Leveling up doesn't always get you better stuff... In a proper game that is.
Wasn't Command and Conquer 4 a pay to win Or at least an 'earn to win'
Watch as their always online DRM ruins the game on the first week of launch and day one dlc and overpriced microtransaction turn it to PAY TO WIN.
I'm not sure if command and conquer fits the f2p model at all. In a pvp setting, anything other than full access is imbalanced in favour of the person with the most options. I can't see what you could fairly charge people for, that they would buy in an RTS game. Charging extra for special units or special abilities is going to be seen as pay to win, no matter how you spin it. RTS doesn't really lend itself to f2p.
boosters to help you level up and unlock more things faster;
"Our game is totally fair! people can either grind for days to get items or just buy them from a store!!!"
This game looks gorgeous. But It's going to be a flop.

I was broken when they announced Generals 2 and instantly said it was a Free 2 Play game. Can you even play offline? [editline]12th March 2013[/editline] Offline single player missions*
Don't you dare touch Tiberium universe with this crap. It was already heavily butchered.

[editline]12th March 2013[/editline] Guys, having XP boosts is no different the an MMO have XP boosts, or a first person shooter have a XP Boost weekend. [editline]12th March 2013[/editline] Also, who says leveling up will give you better gear? Look at Call of Duty and Battlefield. The higher level weapons were not always better then the lower level weapons.

Stuff like relic did with Dow2 (unit levelups that are only visual) and alt factions which are also only visual but paid DLC

If you answer yes to the second, why are you even comparing it If no to the first, take off your payment glasses, go outside and hit yourself with a shovel

Only F2P EA game I've played is TOR. Which I'm subbed to so I have no need to use the F2P Store.
Um, you do realize TF2 and Dota 2 use literally the same system right?
I never said TF2 or Dota 2 were good games either???
What are these "things"?
Units, Super weapons, buildings, upgrades. That stuff
Units, Super weapons, buildings, upgrades. That stuff
It says on the official site
All factions, units, maps, and game modes will be available to everyone from the start. Our monetization will revolve around 3 core pillars, common in successful live services that want to avoid "pay to win" issues, and will be available with both earned and paid currencies: Gameplay – mainly the Generals, as outlined below, all balanced against each other. Customization – the ability to further personalize your Generals and other aspects of the game with varied visuals and audio. Convenience – for those with less time, the option to assist in leveling up faster for more choices.
