I think my favorite scene in wolfenstein is the one in the sewers. You can listen to various conversations of the city dwellers and hear about their lives. you hear about the "terrorists" disrupting their peace and a woman reporting her neighbor for trying on make up.

That woman's neighbor would have eventually been raided and snuffed. You have this 'perfect nazi utopia' and people are reporting 'suspicious behavior' because someone doesn't fall perfectly in line with society.
