How do I succesfully make the :smug: emote into a MSN emote? - General

:smug: It's awesome. And so far I have only failed.

I've done it, but it puts a black box around the back.

Not the optimization. I used only one program to remove the background too, but hell if I'm going to give a guy a PNG that's not as small as fucking possible. Optimization reduces the file size and it's something every nerd who knows how to do it does. While masturbating.

Requesting some facepunch emotes like :argh: into msn emotes

First of all I don't use MSN so I don't know if any of this will work, I just added a white background because the OP said that uploading the image worked, but the transparent background was broken. Does MSN support animated GIFs? I could use Gifsicle to fix the background on that :argh: one. Most emotes I uploaded to MSN, (Back when I used it instead of Pidgin), worked fine with transparency and animation, but some of the larger ones had to be down-sized and such.
