Well, christmas will soon be upon us, and I need some tips to get to sleep.

Stay up 'till 5 'o clock in the morning. You'll drop before you know it.
Sleeping pills.
Sleeping pills are the shit, I'm just too lazy to go and get some.
Listen to something relaxing, close your eyes, let your mind wonder and drift away, and suddenly your daydream turns into a dream.
Don't think about anything, or you can whack yourself in the face really hard.
I've tried closing my eyes for 30 minutes straight, still no sleeping.

try and stay awake whilst lying in bed

Fapping, or close your eyes and get lost in your thoughts.
You must NOT wander through your thoughts, the more you think, the less relaxed you get.
Dont sleep watch films! Or stare at a screen when the room is dark that will make your eyes tired at least

That makes you fall asleep.
Turn lights off and play some gameboy/nintendo ds/anything with a bright screen. Your eyes get tired, you close them and you're away before you know it.
Get into a normal sleeping pattern, it'll take a while.
