Be mad at me all you want.
I was going to get an iPod touch for christmas. Until I asked for a ZuneHD of course for me this was a mistake. Sure its a decent media player, but I was really dissapointed with apps. I didn't really care until my friend let me play around with his iPod touch.
I've looked but all I can find is a place to return it for repairs, but I want money back to buy an iPod touch.

Also don't tell me that I shouldn't because the Zune is better. I just like the iPod in my opinion.
If your getting a new phone, under no circumstances should you get an Iphone, The nexus one is a better choice by miles and i am sure you could send it in, or re-sell it used.
Zune is for jukebox style music.
iTouch is for Apple people who like apps
Nexus is for people who aren't on Macs who like apps.
I never said anything about the iPhone.... Im not looking for a new phone. I just want to be able to get a refund on my ZuneHD for the iPod touch

My ZuneHD wont install its drivers for some reason. It used to work but somehow the drivers got uninstalled and now they wont work.
I know that I have the right drivers so something is wrong with my Zune

Most iPod touch/iPhone users are actually Windows users. The more you know.

I was thinking of eBay, I think I can sell my 32gig for $250. Then possible buy a 16gig from eBay
You'll be very disappointed in the sound quality when switching to an ipod.

To be truthful about half of it will be filled with apps

Oh. Well then go for it, I guess. Beware though, iTunes does not work well on Windows.
iPod touch is the best music playing/multimedia device. The zune would be alright, if like you said, there were more apps and of course if they actually sold it worldwide and not just in america.
I buy an MP3 player for music not useless apps that I will hardly use. Also the marketplace for the Zune has free HD games like PGR and Audiosurf, those 2 apps alone are better than 80% of what the Ipod Touch has to offer. The Zune HD also has a sleeker music browser thats just full of eye candy and has some of the smoothest touch capabilities of any device I have seen. The Nvidia Tegra is fantastic.

I agree, though I use my media player to actually play media and not to browse the web on the two or so hotspots I'll happen to be around during the day. If that's what you want, then obviously the ipod touch is a better choice (apps and better internet from what I hear).
Take it back to the store it was purchased at. OP seems dense, and mis-informed.
I don't see why everybody likes Ipod touches so much. Everybody I knew got one until they all realised pretending to drink a fake beer sucked compared to real beer and that they could listen to music on pretty much any portable electronic device quite well without having to buy an ipod touch too. I mean sure, MSN on an Ipod could be useful if you couldn't get to a computer but I can get that on my phone.. For half the price of an Ipod touch. What is so useful about it? I mean fair enough for an Iphone since it eliminates having to carry around a phone too (at a much larger price mind) but people with just an Ipod touch have to carry both anyway. Anyway your choice I guess, Just my opinion.
"Beer and MSN" are hardly the only things available for the iPod touch with its vast array of 140,000 apps. This vast array is why it's so useful.

Like they say, there's an app for just about anything. It's true.
I pod touch is ruined easily because it is in NOWAY AT ALL, water resistant, the screen costs 123493-284530-157340957$ american to replace it, and you always get the indian kids at apple tech support, the music quality is normaly sub-par from the speaker in it, the apps are all dumb and useless, why do you want one?
Because you want to fit in with your friends.
Why was I rated bad reading? he edited his post late.

I got it from the Zune.net website
Apps get REALLY boring after a while.
I own an ipod touch, and really want a ZuneHD

actually, the backlight is the first to go, it takes a while for the screen to die...

Send it back and demand a refund... Why are you making things so overly-complicated? :raise:

Backlight is LED-powered, so that's not quite correct. I'd bet the battery would crap out first, then the flash memory, and lastly the backlight.
No complaints here
listening to my 16 gig ZuneHD now :fuckyou:
Love my ZuneHD. Got a custom design etched onto the back too.
But I made a simple decision when I was looking for a touchscreen media player between the iTouch and the ZuneHD
iTouch is more like toy (i.e. >5000 apps, low music quality), and the ZuneHD is for Music/Media lovers.
