Haha alotta players already left.
Oh boy the story of Mechwarrior online is a depressing series of bullshit from the devs. Here's hoping it crashes and burns soon, because if they're out of the picture Living Legends has a shot of rising from its grave.
.. Launched? I've been playing it for a while, had no idea it was in beta or anything..
.. Launched? I've been playing it for a while, had no idea it was in beta or anything..
"Launched" in F2P terms is practically meaningless since most of them charge money well before open beta and during it for several months.
How did thirdperson provide any advantage? You can't see half your status, you can't free look with the camera, and you give away for position if someone can see your big blinking camera drone.

You can now see over it without any harm being done to yourself while communicating enemy positions. 3PV is a classic example of PGI managing to implement something that is so broken that nobody likes using it for its intended purposes but which gives an obvious advantage to anyone who abuses it. see also: hardpoints

It really didn't affect a single damn thing. At the end of the day, this is the reason why I somewhat admire the PGI Devs, they don't listen to the forums as much as say the SOE devs for Planetside 2. Brawling is fun again, I can be scary in a medium again, the balance to make sure firing the same weapon at once will cause massive overheating has actually worked. [editline]18th September 2013[/editline]
"Launched" in F2P terms is practically meaningless since most of them charge money well before open beta and during it for several months.
It kept the beta term on it at least until now, not like Planetside 2 which hasn't even reached Version 1 yet in its own updated program log. I know a lot of people here hate MWO because of what happened with the mod Living Legends which was sad indeed and I have no idea what happened to the devs, but MWO itself is actually getting better. The only people leaving are those hot heads who think that things like boating 5 PPCs should be the only thing ever or people who whine and complain about the smallest most insignificant thing(AKA 3rd person). This should be leaving the beta status as the community warfare is still not happening any time soon, but its no surprise after everything that's been happening.
I can be scary in a medium again
I haven't been afraid of a medium since closed beta Lunchbacks.
