Good shit. If you don't have this game, get it and play it. Worth the 10€
Fun game but the system requirements for the CPU are lower than that. I can run it maxed out with a Q6600, it's just that dicing enemies up instead of chopping really kills my framerate
Really well optimized and excellent game. Also the dialogue is hilarious.
Totally worth the price. Even if you're new to this sort of genre, you should start on Hard (not Normal!!) and gradually move up the ladder. It's a great experience all around.
Get this game now, besides being a great game it also gave me some STRONG hallucinations while i was recovering from a spine surgery :v:
Please buy this game.
Especially if you're a fan of Platinum and/or Metal Gear.
Fun game, but incredibly short. Still worth a play, but not my favorite platinum game
Pretty good if you're looking for something cathartic and hammy where you can let loose.
From what I can tell it has much more emphasis on parrying than on dodging/blocking compared to other hack'n'slash titles, which really kept me on my toes. It and the finisher moves that instantly refill your health & mana so you can keep fighting make it pretty rewarding to immerse yourself in a "gaming zen" state where you completely focus on the game.
The slicing mechanic is a cute idea, but overall pretty fiddly in my experience, at least on keyboard and mouse. The port has some downsides as well such as incomplete resolution support (I can't go to my native 1440x900 for example) and a 60 fps cap that, if broken, affects gameplay (most notably QTEs), but it's not that bad overall.

Not at all. Unless you're playing on Revengeance difficulty or going for a no-hits boss run, you don't need to parry. The buyable dodge move, Defensive Offensive, has quite a lot of invincibility frames and lets you circle the opponent. It doesn't look as cool as the parry most of the time, but it gets the job done.
the soundtrack is awesome too
"Oh yeah it's that game I've been wanting why haven't I got it ye-"

Nanomachines, Son!
C'mon you can be crueler then that Jack!
Probably the greatest hack and slash game I've played in a long time. The combat system is drastically different in focus from others so it threw me a bit at first, but it's very good once you get used to it.
I still don't get how people struggle with parrying though, it's extremely easy until you hit very hard or higher and the enemies stop taking it in turns to get murdered.
Greetings, cyborg.
...this game has the best soundtrack.
get it now
it has one of the best final bosses ever
(and also the best brazilian character in a video game)
Show me a good time Jack!
Well, I decided to go for it. Bought the game, i'll start installing later in the night when the rest of my family doesn't have to contend with our shitty wifi.
super great game buy it if you want to feel like a badass cyborg ninja
also is there any reason why every metal gear title on steam so far has been written in all caps? i know it sounds pedantic but it's always irritated me

i also have to say, after MGS2 and MGS4, MGR made me like raiden a hell of a lot more than those games did

MGS4 completely ruined the point of Raiden's character.
Then again, MGS4 ruined basically everything.

By the way I finished this game about eight times and I still haven't had enough of it.
I wonder if it will run on my core 2 duo :A:

its really well optimized for what it is, it could run medium-high on my 2007 prebuilt

A lot of the story and writing is pretty bad compared to the earlier games.
