Hey, I've got a Creative Zen X-Fi 2, and I was wondering how it would be possible to change the icons. Or more, how it would be possible to make more of the files show up on the computer. I know the icons can be changed, because in the latest update they were made more colourful, but I preferred them when they were silver, because it went with any background. So how is this possible? Would it actually be easier to hack the upgrade exe and replace the icons in that somehow?
As far as I know, there's no third-party firmware available for the Zens yet.
I know, but someone has to try something. I don't mind trying.

In fact I think the PSP hacks were made by hex editing the update file at first weren't they?
