Well as the title says, i'm going to upgrade my old desktop, as the specs are totally shit. :v: And I don't need the newest and best stuff as I want to be able to afford it, it just need to be able to play newer games. Specs: And the power supply is on 400watt :v: Oh and i'm from Denmark, so newegg.com is not the greatest place for me to buy hardware.
Budget? And I'm pretty sure that this is his current motherboard: http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=YwIVDOTcvIMHZdTy And we need to know the exact model of your PSU, though I'm pretty sure you'll have to get a new one either way.

But 6000DKK (about 1000 dollars) Should be alright.
I would get a good powersupply, buy 4GB new RAM, a C2Q q8400 and a 6970. I've got a build planned out for my self for ~5000DKK, and I've got the links. That's everything but a case. Wanna see it?
Sure! :buddy:

Prices may have changed a bit since I made the calculation, but this is with shipping. It'll be a huge step-up for you, and it's ready for crossfire.
Looks pretty good.
I'm buying it myself next time I get my pay-check, so I can stand up for it. It could be worth simply upgrading your computer, but well..
It's looks good enough for me :buddy:
