Feel free to share why too. Personally, I'm an optimist because being happy is way more fun.
I'm a pessimist disguised as an optimist. I act optimistic, but that's not really how i feel.
I'd like to think I'm optimistic but I never really am.
Fascist
assume the worst will happen, hope the best does
Everything is shit.
Majority is pessimistic. Unsurprising.
optimism is the way to live a happy life
I'm an optimist about really long term things (state of the world kinda shit) but a pessimist about the short term (tests in school and stuff).
A realist. Though I tend to expect less than it turns out to be.
I think i'm a pessimist even though i try my hardest to be an optimist Like i really believe things get better/are good/going good but when it gets a little bad i start going into pessimist mode and bring myself down
I am an optimistic pessimist. I believe if something bad can happen it probably will, but I also believe many others share my view and are prepared for bad things to happen, so it wont be as bad as it could have been.
Varies with time. Sometimes I can see the great potential that humanity harbors (I saw the ISS fly over tonight, it was really fucking awesome), but then that's usually destroyed by something stupid. Politics for instance.
Realist over here
I have no expectations of something.
im an engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.
You need both pessimism and optimism for equilibrium.
I am very optimistic, if you know what I mean.
narcissist
Cautiously optimistic. There's a difference between keeping your spirits up and being in pure denial.
Both. It depends on the category or my mood for whether I'm pessimistic or optimistic.
I do truly look for the best, but expect the worst; I'm more of a realist.
Pessimist.
I'm a full metal optimist
I'm in between. Everything is shit but it could be worse. :v:
I'm almost always happy, so the former. The only time I get angry or sad is when I'm painfully hungry or other people be givin me a hard time for no reason.
I hate to say it, but I'm a pessimist. I always think the worse is going to happen.
Pessimist. But that means I'm often pleasantly surprised so yay
Im a Optimistic Pessimist.
Optimist. I mostly end up disappointed.
