How much will my insurance premium go up with three points on license? My insurance company is AAA Auto Club of the South and I am 17 with two other parents on my plan designated as safe drivers.

It states a 30% increase for the first accident. Since the three points are for a 10 MPH traffic ticket, shouldn't it only go up 10-20%?

why not call your insurance company and ask?

I'd recommend not calling your insurance company to ask. It's not the most common thing, but sometimes insurance companies fail to rerun your record as often as they maybe should, so they don't raise your rates.
