Well that's good to hear.
What about the whole patent on the playing ads feature though? And it can't play PS3 games apparently?
Wow that's a plus,
@Tsonar
I believe PS3 games will be available sorta like how onlive did it

The architecture is different so it can't play PS3 games. Maybe they patented it so no-one else could use it for stupid things?
Yeah, it seems like a better idea to go with a PS4 this next generation.
360 was alright, but Sony seems more compelling this time around.

With all of this recent news about the PS4 (including Watch Dogs) I feel like I'm almost certainly gonna buy this shit

Microsoft needs to step up their game this gen, not paying for features everyone else has for free would be a good start.
If they had backwards compatibility for PS3 games then the console may not be as powerful as it currently is.

??
backwards compatibility just means that old games will run on the new software, it doesn't mean the hardware is downscaled to run the games

Especially since PS4 is not only just a video game system, it's a multi-media system. That's what really got me to buy a PS3 over a 360 even though I eventually bought a 360.

The console being x86 and being able to emulate PS3 games (that is without sticking a CELL in the new box, which would make the price go up quite a bit) perfectly would actually mean that it's really damn powerful, seeing as gaming PCs are still quite a ways from doing such a thing.
