Think of it as the "What Are You Thinking About" thread (WAYT), just for anime. You talk about the on-going anime shows, some show you've seen, what you found under your elbow last night and how much better one media player is than another at handling certain specific pixels light range in the volumetric indigo of the red lion, also knows as the quantum space of hyperfabricated space. You know, you talk about everything and anime. More specifically, everything BUT anime.

It would please me personally if I could say no to that. But alas, quite a few members enjoy some of those shows. Most enjoyed of them would be Gundam. However the general opinion leans towards; “Horrible commercial pieces of shit that needs to stop. Right now!”. Also just because they do, sadly, like one or more of them does not mean they love them.

About 70-80% of anime consists of that shit, yes. But generally all forms of media have 70-80% pure bullshit and unnecessary porn/fanservice.
There are all kinds of shows out there, if you give some highly credited shows a try you might just steer away from at least the worst clichès and utter shit attempts at luring in brainless perverted audiences. There are shows out there that are actually truly psychological, even some of them manage to be deep (most just try to give the illusion of being deep though), there are lots of good action shows out there and overdone action and gore shows. Good romance sometimes even covering all the way from falling in love to marriage. There is comedy of all sorts, gags, sketches, parodies, references, genuine humor, random humor, etc etc. There are even shows that lets you sit down and watch a whole fucking episode mainly dedicated to a person sitting in a room reading a book if that tingles your interests.

Any show that gets 2 or more votes is placed in the list below, and the ones with the most votes comes in first. So the 3 big pictures for each category are the ones with the most votes of all.
